BRITNEY SPEARS DEBUTS “PRETTY GIRLS” DURING ‘PIECE OF ME’ SHOW

After three months away from the stage, Britney Spears returned to her Las Vegas residency, Britney: Piece of Me on Wednesday night (8/5). During the show, Britney performed her new single “Pretty Girls” for the first time during the residency following the release of the single in May and her performance of the duet with Iggy Azalea the same month on the 2015 Billboard Music Awards.

For the performance, Brit rocks a blonde bob wig in the neon segment of the show with her dancers in tow doing the video’s choreography, including a new added dance break (which she kills by the way)!

Britney continues her successful residency until December, with word that she plans on extending the show for another two years. Aside from the release of yet another successful fragrance this summer and lingerie line, she’s been in the studio cooking up her ninth studio album due later this year via RCA Records. She’s been working with DJ Mustard, Ian Kirkpatrick and Alex Da Kid.

MADONNA KISSES DRAKE AT COACHELLA!

For the last couple of months, Madonna has been hot on Drake‘s trail after the rapper named a track after her on his mixtape album, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. There’s been subliminal and straight-up Instagram posts of Madge wanting Aubrey to take her on a date and interviews where she says she wants to make out with him.

Well, she got her wish! During his set at this weekend’s Coachella, Drizzy brought out the “Material Girl” as a surprise guest, where she quoted the “Madonna” track on a tank reading “Big As Madonna” and singing her classics “Hung Up” and “Human Nature” (that beat still knocks to this day). It was then that Madge pulled a seat on stage for Drake ala the “Anaconda” video with Nicki and proceeded to give him the kiss of his life (don’t let his facial expression fool you).

After the media misread his facial expression as being disgusted, Drake took to his Instagram to state that he was just in shock that he got to make out with the queen herself.

Madonna is still out there promoting the hell out of her new album Rebel Heart. One to not get discouraged after initial dismal sales, the legendary Queen of Pop took over The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (as well as the backstage dressing rooms, audience, and the whole damn studio) with her performance of the Nicki Minaj-featured “Bitch I’m Madonna.”

The performance comes on the heels of her just-released second single from the album, the radio-friendly midtempo “Ghosttown” and it’s video co-starring Terrence Howard. Can we just say “F**K IT UP MADONNA!” real quick for this 50-something year-old still dip diving it like her AARP membership depended on it. Great energetic performance with participation from the song’s producer Diplo and The Roots.

Speaking of the Philly group, they helped out Madonna and Jimmy Fallon as they all performed Madge’s classic hit “Holiday” – using nothing but classroom instruments! Talk about a throwback!

Fresh off the release of her EPIC new music video and getting the co-sign for it from THE Kanye West, Tinashe is on a promotional trail for her new single “All Hands On Deck.” The singer/songwriter performed the single on Conan – and let’s just say she KILLED IT! She is definitely one to look out for if y’all are late catching on!

And can I say her “dust your pants off” dance move is gonna be the hot move of the year from now on! It’s like Rihanna‘s “patty cake but slice the cake” dance move from “Where Have You Been.”

DESTINY’S CHILD REUNITE AT 2015 STELLAR AWARDS FOR “SAY YES”

It’s been ten years since they’ve called it quits as a group, but over the past several years, the women of Destiny’s Child have come to each other’s aid time after time. Now, the trio broke the internet as Michelle Williams opened the 2015 Stellar Awards. But to the surprise of the audience at the 30th annual show in Las Vegas, Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland appeared on stage to perform a gospel medley that included “Alpha & Omega” and “Say Yes,” released as a single in 2014 from Michelle’s fourth solo album Journey To Freedom.

Let the chuuuch say AMEN!!! These girls are always teasing a reunion of sorts whether they’re on each others songs, in videos and performances. But this performance definitely took the cake because not only was it unexpected, but it took it back to the days of DC and their gospel medleys on their earlier albums. There’s no denying that their harmonies together are flawless. And having not sang together in that capacity since 2005 (or if you count the 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show), their vocal unity just gives you goosebumps and hope for another album and tour!

With this being their first time performing “Say Yes” almost as year after it’s release, it definitely brought the gospel community in the crowd to their feet with the Lord clearly using Michelle, Kelly and Beyoncé. You can just feel the energy even through the screen as well as seeing how excited onlookers like Gospel greats Yolanda Adams, Shirley Caesar, Erica Campbell and Donnie McClurkin getting lifted in the spirit as well! Great performance by the ladies! Here’s to the next time they get together and tease the fans.
