Chris Brown “transforms” from public backlash to hot-on-the-scene in his new video for “I Can Transform Ya,” the first single from his upcoming album Graffiti (Dec. 15th). The track, featuring producer Swizz Beatz and Lil Wayne, has already reached #27 on the Billboard Hot 100 last week. The futuristic video, directed by Joseph Kahn (Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Eminem), premiered today on MTV Hits, MTV Jams, and MTV.com. Chris and Joseph last worked together on last year’s “Forever” and the recent Ester Dean video “Drop It Low.” Transformer star Tyrese also makes a cameo.

I’m diggin’ how the video is simple yet the special effects are great! Joseph really did his thing on this video and Chris got a winner with this one!

CD COVER: RIHANNA – ‘RATED R’

Rihanna is on her Grace Jones-swag for the official cover artwork of her new album Rated R. Photographer Ellen von Unwerth spoke with PopEater, saying “Rihanna was looking to create something a bit new for the look of the album. [She's] so beautiful, sweet, and tough at the same time—and a pleasure to shoot.”
Rated R, which features production from Ne-Yo, Tricky Stewart and The-Dream, Ne-Yo, Justin Timberlake, Stargate, and Chase & Status, will drop in stores November 23rd.

The video for first single “Russian Roulette” will debut on ABC on November 6th, while second single “The Wait Is Ova” will be sent to radio before the CD release.

Here is your sneak peek of the “I Get It In” video by the self-proclaimed “King of Dance,” Omarion. The video is expected to drop soon and his third solo LP Ollusion has been pushed back to January 2010. I won’t judge it quite yet since it’s the rough edit, but it looks promising.

Along with premiering his new single yesterday, Chris Brown sat down with Hot 97′s Angie Martinez for an interview where he spoke on Rihanna, Jay-Z, and Oprah. This interview was in a sense better than that Larry King Live promo-gone-bad interview.

NEW MUSIC: CHRIS BROWN – "CRAWL"

Chris Brown is set to release his third album Graffiti in December and his second single has premiered. “Crawl,” which premiered on Hot 97 yesterday, was produced by Oak (Mario, Raven-Symone) and will coincide with current single “I Can Transform Ya.”

Chris shot the video last week with Cassie as the leading lady. “I Can Transform Ya” video is expected to premiere very soon.

I’ve actually heard the track a good two weeks ago from some of my Sony Music connects (and no, not the demo version). I see he’s doing a “Kiss Kiss”/”With You” singles-situation like he did with Exclusive, which is smart, especially now since Chris is just getting back on the good graces of the public. The song is very good and like his ex, he has really stepped his vocal game up as well.

The wait is ova!…One of the year’s most anticipating single has premiered!

Rihanna compares her relationship to a game of “Russian Roulette” on her first single from her upcoming fourth album, Rated R (Nov. 23rd). The Ne-Yo-penned track premiered at exactly 11:23 AM on the singer’s official website. The video was shot last week in NY with Anthony Mandler, who has now shot his eleventh video with the Bajan beauty. The clip will hit the primetime when it premieres on ABC soon.

The follow-up to 2007′s multi-platinum Good Girl Gone Bad will feature production by Tricky Stewart and The-Dream, Chase & Status, Stargate, and Justin Timberlake, just to name a few.

This song is really hot! One thing that stood out to me is how much Rihanna has stepped up her vocal game. Also, I like the cross between the track being radio-ready yet edgy to compliment RiRi’s image.

See You In My Nightmares/We Were Once A Fairy Tale

Kanye West goes through the drunken motions in his mini-movie entitled We Were Once A Fairy Tale. This also serves as the video for the Lil Wayne-featured “See You In My Nightmares” from the album 808s & Heartbreak. The 11-minute feature was directed by Spike Jonze, who the very artistic and confusing “Flashing Lights” video. This was shot earlier in the year and was supposed to be released in May. Fonzworth Bentley also makes a cameo.

WOW! I’m really lovin’ this video! Very artistic and Kanye may have came off a little extra with the acting, but it works for him because its Kanye. Also, isn’t it a little weird that this mirrors everything Kanye is going through right now? Everyone, lets give a big “clap, clap, bravo!” to Spike & Kanye for this masterpiece (yeah, I said it!).

(On a side note, you can see where he got his inspiration for his VMA rant last month lol)
